Cedar Falls is proud to be the first Trail Town in Iowa, recognized by the American Discovery Trail. This honor highlights the city’s welcoming vibe and its dedication to providing trail enthusiasts with great spots to eat, drink, stay, and rest along the way.
The Cedar Valley Trails are part of both the American Discovery Trail and the Great American Rail-Trail. With 140 strategically placed wayfinding signs, navigating these trails is easy. Plus, our dedicated Trail Patrol volunteers are available year-round to offer bike repairs and assistance as needed.
